New York City. It's Still One Hell of a Town.

That was the opening line to a parody commercial for the New York Telephone Company done by Rod Serling in the late 60's or early 70's. Most people in radio had a copy of this "gem" or wished they did. Through the internet, that desire is now easily a reality.

Over the weekend, Diana and I hightailed it to the Big Apple, New York City to celebrate our 7th anniversary. And New York City is still one hell of a town.

Like all tourists, we hit the non cultural highlights. China Town. Rode the subway, walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, rode the Staten Island Ferry (btw, the best deal in NYC. Nice boat ride through the harbor, great view of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the lower end of Manhattan), Central Park, the Stores, Ground Zero, and much more.

We walked our tails off and had the time of our life. Below are some of the photo highlights.

Here by the way is a link to the spoof radio spot. Note that there is adult language content in the audio.
